The Sea of Stars season is coming! This season will feature updated PVP rules, new opponents, and a cross-server battle mode where you can choose to battle against players from the other server (TRON/BSC). The final winners will be selected after two rounds of battles. This time, we are offering a prize pool of nearly $4 million — far higher than that of S1!
Stage 1 — Point-Based Qualifying Round
Similar to S1, the qualifying round will rank players of each server based on the points they earn from duels. Your final ranking at this stage will decide your initial ranking at Stage 2.
Stage 1 rules:
1. Date and time: April 30, 2022 at 12:00:00 to May 30, 2022 at 12:00:00（HKT）
2. Eligibility: Each account may play up to 50 games a day, depending on its VIP level.
3. Rules of earning points in duels
①Result: 2–0
If your opponent has a higher ranking than you, then you will earn 50 points for winning or lose 30 points for losing;
If your opponent has a lower ranking than you, then you will earn 30 points for winning or lose 40 points for losing;
②Result: 2–1
If your opponent has a higher ranking than you, then you will earn 40 points for winning or lose 20 points for losing;
If your opponent has a lower ranking than you, then you will earn 20 points for winning or lose 30 points for losing;
Note: You need to win two out of the three matches to win a duel.
4. The points earned at Stage 1 will determine your default ranking at Stage 2. In other words, the more points you earn, the higher your initial ranking will be at the start of Stage 2; players with identical points will be ranked based on the time their accounts were created, and the one registered earlier will enjoy a higher ranking.
5. Stage 2 entry requirements: All players on both servers (including those winning no points at Stage 1) are eligible for the Stage 2 finals.
Stage 2 — Cross-Server Final Round
All players on the servers of TRON and BSC will gather together and compete to be the final winners in the whole new ladder gameplay.
Stage 2 rules:
1. Date and time: May 30, 2022 after maintenance to June 27, 2022 at 12:00:00（HKT）
2. Rules of the final round
The final round adopts a new set of rules: a player can choose their opponent from a designated range of players for a battle match-up. The detailed rules will be announced prior to the start of Stage 2. Please find the details in our latest announcements!
3. The final rankings will be decided based on the leaderboard on June 27, 2022 at 12:00:00（HKT）.
